Carly Armour
Carly Armour is one of the program founders and advisors. She serves as an Accommodations Coordinator for Student Disability Services (SDS) at the University of Iowa. On campus, she serves as a member of Staff Council and Charter Committee on Diversity as well as an advisor for the Student Disability Org which she founded in 2008. She also teaches a leadership studies course through the UI Career Leadership Academy. Carly is instrumental for recruiting students, faculty, and staff to increase disability awareness and accessibility advocacy. Her passion stems from being one who was born profoundly deaf and desiring equitable access for all. Recently, she was accepted into the Higher Education and Student Affairs (HESA) Ph.D. program at the University of Iowa where she'll be a part-time student while working full-time at SDS starting Fall 2018.
